    Ambulance wait times

I think average wait times for life threatening issues is about 12-14 minutes in my area.

    Ambulance wait times

I had a horrendous night last night. My mother has degenerative osteoporosis which causes her terrible back pain. She felt back into her chair a couple of days ago and her back got worse. We called the doctor out today and she said it could be a fractured lower back. She prescribed morphine...

    Anxiety of the unknown

Sneaky of the Japanese! Is there any difference between US and USA? I am sure I've seen it used interchangeably.

Panic attacks - having one now!

Maybe mine is less an anxiety attack but just legitimate anxiety based upon the circumstances I face. In any case, perhaps it will increase my capabilities of dealing with this sort of thing. I grow as a result.

    Anxiety of the unknown

There might be something similar to your Small Business Administration, although I alway imagine that the US probably has more help. (Do you use US or USA or are they interchangeable?) Regarding lawyers, I am cringing at the thought of it all.

    Mental Tube

There seems to have been quite a few books recently out about introverts, rebranding them as just fine and also to clarify what they actually are. It appears it is not just a question of quiet verses loud, but instead that extroverts get energy from other people while introverts get energy from...

    Anxiety of the unknown

Wow, Insane_AI, you seem to have had your own fair share of stress too then. Whenever you run your own business, there is a risk involved that can turn your brain into mush. At this stage, I don't have a legal team. I am only a tiny business. Me verses a $60bn company.:( Ultimately, I may...

    Is Political Correctness toxic?

You can even use the right terminology and cause offence. For example, some people might find the phrase "white old men" as being offensive, at least that is the impression I got from a Senator who accused them of bias regarding the Brett Kavanaugh affair. (US politics for those who don't know.)

Panic attacks - having one now!

Thanks for the recommendations Uncle Gizmo. Sometimes work stress can be intense, especially where legal matters can have serious financial consequences. I keep telling myself to only focus on the things that are in my control. There is nothing I can do about matters outside of my control.

    Is Political Correctness toxic?

We used to say "coloured" back when I was young. But then ten years later I was told off by my girlfriend back then that the correct term was "black". It had changed and no one told me! She was adopted into a family where her step father was black so it was particularly sensitive to her.

    What do you enjoy doing?

I forgot to mention, I do like video games too. Fight Night 4 boxing game on my PlayStation 3. Then on my PC, I got addicted to Throne and Patriots, which is a real time strategy game where you build tech, armies etc. and then blast the crap out of one another! :p It is quite an old game but...

    Is the death penalty immoral?

Bee, you might be interested in the movie American Violence. I thought it was quite good, even though IMDB only give it 4.5. It is about this very subject, the death penalty. It's on Netflix.

    What is your favourite charity?

If I had a $1M to give to charity, I would probably give it to something against animal cruelty, or a cat sanctuary, something like that. I can't stand the mistreatment of animals. Sadly, I don't have that to give so my donations are much smaller! What is your favourite charity?

    What do you enjoy doing?

Personally, I enjoy watching movies, playing chess, learning about all sorts of new things. Eating is also a big thing for me, as a self-confessed foodie. I also like going to a decent coffee shop for a cappuccino and biscotti. Oh, and I love cake! (I go to the gym etc. but I'm not saying I love...
