Harvey Weinstein - guilty or not guilty?

#MeToo may have spead virally post the HW allegations, but had been around as early as 2006. Let's take your position and assume that a high percentage of people posting #MeToo are stretching the truth for any one of the various reasons you've suggested. But what about the remainder? What...

Harvey Weinstein - guilty or not guilty?

Jon, I see you laying breadcrumb trails and I'm not falling for... oh, wait... there's a lot I have to say about this. There were casualties on the night it seems. A couple of the 'bonfire boys' (the people who are responsible for the fire sites) lost a few fingers. Better than 3 years ago when a member of the public was blinded by a stray firework.

Last night was the largest of the Bonfire events in the County (and the country) - the Lewes Bonfire. I am involved in the organisation and some of my team worked from 06:00 yesterday morning to 23:00 last night. I was at home, on call if needed, for the first time in 6 years - and I really...

    Is IQ > EQ?

I generally don't tell people I made it into Mensa. It either looks like boasting, or it raises expectations - and I'd much rather retain the element of surprise.

I don't know whether there's any useful information here, but the other thing to maybe think about is speaking to her GP or out of hospital team about a referral to a home physiotherapist who will do falls prevention and chair-based exercise with her.

    Coffee or tea?

I don't sweeten my tea. Assam has a rich, malty flavour which has enough natural sweetness for me - but I didn't realise that the milk inhibits the solubility of the sweetening agent too - I just assumed it lowered the temperature.

    Coffee or tea?

Tea. But I'm very fussy about it. It has to be Assam tea - no blended crap for me, thanks. And it has to be made with boiling water. If the kettle comes off the boil, that's no good. I like a strong flavour, so I let the tea brew for a couple of minutes, but I also like a decent amount of milk...
