I brought and read Rays book "the singularity is near", I went up to London and met him a couple of years back and I got a copy of the singularity is near signed by Ray Kurzweil... He is a very clever man, very perceptive, and as well as predicting the future has taken advantage of his own predictions to develop some very clever products. Lately he has moved into health based technology, as he intend to Live Forever. Got the funny feeling I've said all this in a previous post!

Uncle, what are your thoughts of the accuracy of what he is saying? For example, he believes we will reach longevity escape velocity in 10 years or so. By that, I mean we will live forever, baring accident.
