    Spaced repetition and learning maths

Thanks for the post, I've seen this before and imported it but the import dissipated, re-imported now.

    Input Hypothesis

I saw input hypothesis (a theory relating to second language acquisition) mentioned in a random blog post and have been going through it slowly over the last week or two. An overall summary ripped from wikipedia: The hypotheses put primary importance on the comprehensible input (CI) that...

What are you using Supermemo for?

Ah, I see. Maybe this blog will be of use to you, it's about using spaced repetition for procedural skills which the author defines as such: Knowledge that can only be tested through performance is procedural . I haven't gone very far through the blog's posts but the main takeaway is that you...

    Efficient Food Consumption/Preparation

The main thing I'm taking away from this is don't add anything that I'd put in a salad which isn't too hard, I don't mind some vegetables like spinach but I strongly dislike salads and whatever greens they put in them (which is inconvenient as a vegan when people tend to assume I like salads). I...

    Life Hacks

Really liked that video, woke up from a nightmare but that was a good way to relieve the stress from it. For a paper book, how would you go through the entire book and copy the highlighted extracts to SM? Just by hand? It wouldn't be so bad to do that if you were to use a kindle as some people...

What are you using Supermemo for?

I used anki before using Supermemo but I completely forgot I'd tried it till a while after using Supermemo. I can remember now that I did use it but I can't remember how I came to use it. I did find anki kind of limiting in that it was hard to manage cards, the knowledge tree is pretty...

    Efficient Food Consumption/Preparation

Haha alright, no orange juice then. Are blueberries good to mix with strawberries in the same shake? And is there much difference between using soy milk vs almond milk? How hard is to make a bad tasting blend if I just throw in random fruits, seeds, and powders?

    Efficient Food Consumption/Preparation

I went with my friend to the grocery store yesterday and I'm amazed at just how cheap you can make food if you buy vegetables and mushrooms (not fruits though, they're expensive usually in Korea). I bought some frozen strawberries yesterday and my friend said I could blend just that with orange...

What are you using Supermemo for?

Yeah that's true. When I first started I got super frustrated using SM but now it's just natural. A lot of people want a modern UI but I don't know if the intuitiveness I get from using SM now could be matched.

Do you have any specific recommendations on videos? I think I need it now more than ever.

    Life Hacks

For Supermemo, if I use a paper book the workflow isn't that great, I have to take notes on the book while reading and then transfer them to Supermemo. I HATE taking notes because when I read I like to just read and not worry about doing other things that break flow. If I use online sources, it...

What are you using Supermemo for?

I get this feeling often that in the moment it feels hard to picture getting significantly better than I am now, I think I had the same feeling when I started around 3 months ago but it's a bit exciting to think about how much better I'll be at SM 3 months from now in ways I can't picture yet.

What are you using Supermemo for?

Yup, LittleFish That's true, templates are a bit harder than I expected. After seeing this blog, I wanted to make a template for keyboard shortcut questions but it didn't really work how I wanted.

Yeah, misc would make more sense, I'll try that instead.

    Efficient Food Consumption/Preparation

Saw this vid on their channel, I don't like spending the time to cook but thinking of cooked tofu is starting to sway me...especially if I could have it all week. I do have a lot of flaxseed at home which is a start, I should probably be able to order most of that online.

What are you using Supermemo for?

I saw some long-time SM user on the discord mention that they don't spend any time with knowledge tree anymore because it takes away from learning time but I guess there's the benefit of hierarchy in being able to clearly see what learning material you have and where you skew. People have asked...

My dad gave me a book about minimalism a few months ago but I've been avoiding paper books since I started using IR, should probably take a look at it soon. Nowadays, I try to avoid spending time at home because I can't get much done and if I were more minimalistic it would make life so much...

What are you using Supermemo for?

That is pretty helpful, gonna import it as a topic. Number 3 seems a bit tough though, probably because learning is too vague a folder to organize things with well, everything fits under it. To me, it doesn't seem that useful to be able to locate specific sections because I can just search but I...

    Efficient Food Consumption/Preparation

This is amrbonite. I'll try to find those ingredients and use them in a smoothie but not sure how I'll find chia seeds or cacau nibs (what are those?). Can't do the chicken breasts because I'm a vegan. Without those the veggies are a bit harder because they're not so fun to eat by themselves...

    Efficient Food Consumption/Preparation

I think this is probably the least wrong section to post this in since it can be helpful for productivity and saving time. I don't much like spending time doing any sort of cooking that takes longer than 8 minutes (almost anything but microwaving frozen food, frying frozen food, and making...
