I get in a muddle between inductive and deductive reasoning. One is general-to-specific, while the other is specific-to-general.
So, with that in mind, I went to work on a mnemonic to help me remember them. I struggled at first, but have now come up with one and I am mightily pleased with myself!!
Deductive = General to Specific.
De-ductive = De-ep pan pizza! General to Specific= G - S = GaS!. Deep pan pizza gives you gas!!
Inductive reasoning is just triggered as the opposite of deductive. Easy to get them both this way.
