Genetic ‘repulsion’ vs being ‘shallow’ and disbelief

#1
We are a society, currently, that views genetically driven ‘repulsion’ as ‘negative’.

We are mammalian organisms, programmed ultimately with the urge to reproduce.

We would like to think that we are being ‘shallow’; but as a person who is Darwinian, I believe that we have no control over this.

Do you disbelieve that it is a genetic advantage to ignore these warnings?

Not sure how you mean the question. Ignoring the urge to reproduce completely, living a sterile ascetic life? Or merely using birth control methods?

Or is your thrust in a different direction oriented towards being selective in a highly specific way?
