Comprehensive Blood Tests

There are some private services where you can pay to get blood tests.

Examples:

US: https://www.wellnessfx.com/

UK: https://www.medichecks.com/

I have never gotten these done before but they interest me. We only have the one vessel carrying ourselves around, so taking a preventative approach seems to make sense to me. I've posted this in the mental health section, because many of the tests also impact on mental health.

Has anyone here done these types of tests before? How did it go?

The approach ties in neatly with the philosophy of "prevention is better than cure." Find out what is wrong before symptoms appear and it becomes acute.

Understood, but my insurance allows the clinic to prescribe what they call "maintenance" tests or "wellness" tests. Particularly since I have a known liver issue, they don't balk.

I think it might be a bit different in the US. We have the NHS but they only give you the minimum required, rather than much on the preventative side. I can imagine going to the Doc asking for a battery of tests while I feel fine, and getting a rather irksome look.
